Green Plantain Porridge With Seafood

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Green plantain medium-sized
  • 3 tablespoons Red Palm oil
  • 1 Onion or 1 cup chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Ground crayfish
  • 1 cup Pepper mix
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Mixed seafood
  • 6 leaves Kale

Instructions
 

  • Peel the plantain and cut into smaller pieces.
  • Chop the onion. Finely chop the garlic.
  • Heat the palm oil in a pan until it melts. Do not allow to bleach.
  • Add the onions. Allow to cook for around 5 mins.
  • Pour in the garlic, onion powder, ginger powder, ground crayfish and the blended pepper mixture with some salt. Add 2 cups of water and cover the pan.
  • Allow to cook for 15 mins.
  • Wash the kale. Remove the thick stalk in the middle and slice thinly.
  • Mix in the kale and the seafood. Reduce the heat and allow to cook for further 5 mins. Remove from heat
